Your First Visit

There is never a charge for your initial consultation. The consultation includes a comprehensive examination, a panelipse x-ray, review of the clinical diagnosis, and a detailed discussion of treatment options, estimated treatment time, and cost. Diagnostic records, such as digital facial and dental photos, digital x-rays, and study models, can often be taken the same day if treatment is recommended.

Appointments to place appliances, including expanders, headgear, space maintainers, or braces, typically take 30 to 90 minutes. Follow-up adjustments are scheduled one to eight weeks apart and generally take 10 to 20 minutes. Please bring completed patient forms (downloadable PDFs below) and your insurance information, if applicable, so our staff can verify benefits.

Finance & Insurance

If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, it can reduce your out-of-pocket cost. Many plans have a lifetime orthodontic maximum that is separate from general dental benefits, so provide complete insurance information so our team can help determine your benefits. If benefits change during treatment, the financially responsible party is responsible for charges.

Treatment cost varies with severity, complexity, and length of care. We offer flexible payment options, including in-house financing with a down payment and monthly interest-free payments, discounts for full cash prepayment, and acceptance of Visa and MasterCard. We can also work with medical savings or flexible spending plans. Note that charges for lost or broken retainers and certain items may not be covered by insurance; please ask our office for details.
